In the latest COE Bidding Results (22 January 2020), COE premiums closed mixed across all categories. The biggest increase came in premiums for Category C and the biggest drop was seen in Category E! Check out the closing prices below.

COE premiums for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at $35,010, falling by $310 from the last exercise.

In Category B, usually used for larger and more powerful cars, premiums continued to rise to $37,705, up by $596.

COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, rose the most closing at $25,001 from $24,402 in the previous bidding exercise.

The biggest drop came in premiums in the Open category. These COE premiums can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars, dropped by $500 to $37,500 from $38,000.

There were a total of 4,515 bids, but only a quota of 3,456 COEs available.
