For COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below and with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums saw a fall of almost $1,000, closing at $41,001.

Continuing the positive trend, premiums in Category B fell by $788, closing at $46,002.

Sawing the biggest decline in prices were COEs in Category C. These COE premiums, meant for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, fell by $4,111, closing at $40,890.

COE premiums in the Open Category saw a decrease in prices too. Premiums in this category closed at $47,506, decreasing by $2,272 from the previous exercise.

There were a total of 4,036 bids but only a quota of 2,962 COEs was available.
