Road Closures During CNY 2020 Celebrations in Chinatown

The CNY 2020 celebrations in Chinatown will take place from 3 January 2020 to 24 January 2020. As such, to facilitate the event, some lanes and roads around the area will be temporarily closed during stipulated times.

Opening Ceremony (Rehearsal)

The rehearsal will take place on Friday, 3 January 2020, between 8 pm to 11.59 pm. During this time, these roads will be closed:

The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, 4 January 2020, from 1 pm to 11.59 pm. During this time, these roads will be closed:

Bazaar Event

There will also be a bazaar set up in Chinatown from Friday, 3 January 2020, to Friday, 24 January 2020. During this period, these roads will be closed from 6 pm to 11.59 pm:

Details of the Bazaar

The Festive Street Bazaar will be open every day between 6 pm to 10.30 pm and from 6 pm to 1 am on the eve of Chinese New Year.

There will be a variety of stalls lining up the streets of Chinatown where visitors can soak in the celebrations. There will be good food, beautiful lights and decorations and many shopping opportunities for you to enjoy.
