COE Bidding Results (6 Nov 2019)
Category A cars saw the biggest fall in COE premium prices as they closed at $30,000, down from $32,309. COE premiums in this category are meant for cars 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp.
Also falling were premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B. These premiums closed at $40,009 in the latest exercise, falling by $1,796.
Additionally, open category COEs closed at $41,101, falling from $42,020. Premiums in this category can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars.
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, fell by $609 to $25,392.
There were a total of 4,456 bids received, but only a quota of 3,454 COE premiums available.
