COE Bidding Results (23 May 2019)

For Category A cars, premiums closed at $27,000, a whopping $9,704 lower than the previous exercise. Premiums in this category are meant for cars 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp.

Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B closed lower at $42,564, down from $48,010.

Also closing lower were premiums for the Open category COEs. These premiums went down to $47,000 from $52,502. Premiums in this category can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars.

There were a total of 5,625 bids received, but a quota of only 4,327 COEs available.
