The COE Bidding Results (7 Aug 2019) are out and COE premiums closed higher across the board!

The biggest increase was seen in Category A cars. These premiums are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp. Premiums in this category closed a whopping $6,058 higher at $32,725.
Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B also rose to $40,001 from $39,406.
Also increasing were Open category COEs. While these premiums can be used for any vehicle type, they end up being used mainly for large cars. The premiums rose to $40,512 from $39,889.
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, rose to $27,800 from $24,599 in the previous bidding exercise.
There were a total of 5,631 bids were received, with a quota of only 3,506 COEs available.
