COE Bidding Results (5 August 2020)
As the COE quota for August to October shrinks from 19,055 COEs to 18,626 COEs, there’s a good chance that COE prices will continue to soar. And this was evident in the latest COE Bidding Results (5 August 2020) where COE premiums closed higher across the board. Check out where the premiums closed at below!
COE Bidding Results (5 August 2020)
COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at $33,000, up by $301 from the last exercise.
Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B increased the most, from $35,001 to $37,102.
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, rose by $212 to $24,100.
Also seeing a significant jump were COE premiums in the Open category. Premiums in this category rose to $36,502 from $35,001, seeing a $1,501 jump. These premiums are used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars
There were a total of 6,194 bids but with a quota of only 3,287 COEs available.
