COE Bidding Results (4 November 2020)
For COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below and with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums saw the biggest increment, falling by $1,344 to $35,990.
Also increasing were COE premiums in the Category B. Premiums in this category rose to $39,000, seeing a $1,990 decrease. These premiums are used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for larger cars
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, also closed higher in this round of bidding. Premiums in the category saw a fall of $2,276, closing at $31,502.
However, only COE premiums in Open Category followed the recent trend and continued to fall. Premiums in this category closed at $39,500, falling by $389.
There were a total of 4,645 bids but with a quota of only 3,347 COEs available.
