As expected by many, COE premiums for most categories followed the upwards trend, closing as the year’s highest. Check out where all the premiums closed at below.

For COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below and with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums fell slightly by $158 to $40,556.
However, COE premiums in the Category B rose to $49,300, seeing a $4,288 increase. These premiums are used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for larger cars.
COEs for commercial vehicles, or Category C, which includes goods vehicles and buses, also closed higher in this round of bidding. Premiums in the category increased by $2,312, closing at $35,201.
COE premiums in the Open Category, or Category E, unsurprisingly increased as well. Premiums in this category closed at $49,500, increasing by $3,990.
There were a total of 4,362 bids but with a quota of only 2,818 COEs available.
