COE Bidding Results (21 Aug 2019)

Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at $31,917, down from $32,725 in the last exercise.

Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B fell to $38,602 from $40,001.

COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, fell to $26,501 from $27,800 in the previous bidding exercise.

Open category COEs, which can be used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars, fell to $40,002 from $40,512.

There was a total of 5,189 bids were received, with a quota of 3,495 COEs available.
