In the latest COE Bidding Results (9 September 2020), only the COE premiums for motorcycles saw a decrease in prices. For the rest of the categories, prices climbed by at least $1,600!

For COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below and with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums saw the biggest jump, closing at $37,766, climbing up by $2,056.
Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B rose the highest, from $38,802 to $41,510.
COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, also increased in this round of bidding. Premiums in this category went up by $1,638 to $26,644.
Also seeing a significant jump were COE premiums in the Open category. Premiums in this category rose to $40,790 from $38,110, seeing a $2,680 jump. These premiums are used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for larger cars
There were a total of 5,340 bids but with a quota of only 3,259 COEs available.
