COE Bidding Results (22 July 2020)

COE premiums in Category A, which are meant for cars with 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp, premiums closed at $32,699, down from $33,520 in the last exercise.

Premiums for larger and more powerful cars in Category B fell to $35,001 from $35,889.

COEs for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, fell to $23,888 from $24,502 in the previous bidding exercise.

However, Open category COEs saw a slight increase in premium prices. Premiums in this category rose to $35,001 from $34,989. These premiums are used for any vehicle type but end up being used mainly for large cars

There were a total of 7,810 bids but with a quota of only 4,449 COEs available.
