NETS has introduced a new stored value card – the NETS Motoring Card! The NETS Motoring Card will replace the 26-year-old CashCard, and you’ll be able to use it for ERP and car park payments.

Where to Buy the NETS Motoring Card?
The NETS Motoring Card is now available for purchase at the NETS Customer Service Centre, convenience stores as well as petrol stations islandwide. This card will cost $10, with an existing stored value of $5 upon purchase.

As the new NETS Motoring Card is set to replace the CashCard moving forward, you will only be able to purchase the CashCard at petrol stations and the NETS Customer Service Centre at Central Plaza from 5 April 2021 onwards.
Where to Top Up the NETS Motoring Card?
There are a number of ways for you to top-up your NETS Motoring Card.
- NETS FlashPay Reader App
- NETS top-up machines at all car parks
- DBS, POSB, OCBC and UOB ATMs
- Over the counter at convenience stores & petrol stations
Is the NETS Motoring Card Compatible with all IUs and OBUs?
This new card is compliant with the Contactless e-Purse Application (CEPAS) standard and is compatible with the current dual-mode in-vehicle unit (IU) and the future on-board unit (OBU) which will be introduced in mid-2021.
However, please note that the new card is not compatible with the first-gen IU. So, if you own a car with the first-gen IU, you will need to continue using the NETS CashCard. This will carry on until you get the new OBU in your car. Afterwhich, you’ll be able to use the NETS Motoring Card to prepare for ERP 2.0.
Which Carparks Do Not Accept the NETS Motoring Card?
The NETS Motoring Card can be used in carparks islandwide, except for non-full Electronic Parking System (EPS) carparks. But this does not mean that the NETS Motoring Card is totally useless here!
You’ll still be able to use the NETS Motoring Card here, but with somewhat limited functionality as you will not be able to enjoy the convenience of the auto-deduction function here.
However, unlike carparks with EPS, these carparks would require you to follow a PayWave-style tap-and-hold motion at the exit readers.
