COE Bidding Results (3 March 2021)
For COE premiums in Category A, which are for cars up to 1,600cc and 130bhp, premiums saw an increase of almost $1,000, closing at $41,996. This is the only category with an increase in this exercise.
Premiums for Cat B continue to drop, this time by $1,001, closing at $45,001. This category is for larger and more powerful cars above 1600cc and 130bhp.
Category C’s premiums also followed the trend and fell by $3,377. These COE premiums, meant for commercial vehicles, which include goods vehicles and buses, closed at $37,513.
COE premiums in the Category E, or the Open Category, also saw a decrease in prices. Premiums in this category closed at $47,001, decreasing by $505 from the previous exercise.
There were a total of 3,226 bids but only a quota of 2,380 COEs was available.
